The Secret Forest The Secret Forest We are a volunteer run business opposite Clearwell Caves, in the Royal Forest of Dean. Adults £3 and children 5-16 years £2.

We are open 10am until 4pm seasonally, please see website for details. Dogs on a lead welcome! Come along and enjoy a scenic walk through the Secret Forest, feel free to bring a picnic or enjoy the hand made cakes and snacks with a cup of tea/coffee in our Tearooms. Please do keep visiting us as we aim to improve the site daily!

Due to circumstances out of our control, we regret to announce that the Secret Forest will remain permanently closed.

Well behaved dogs on leads welcome!

As per government guidelines we are allowed to open the Tearooms for takeaway only!

We are off grid so cash only at the entrance!
Hand sanitiser is available at several points around the site and there is a hand washing sink at the toilets.
We have reduced our car parking spaces by over half to ensure that social distancing can be adhered to throughout the site.

Come and take a walk through the mystical woodlands at the Secret Forest this Halloween. 🎃
Spot giant spiders as you wander through the woods and try not to get tangled in any spider webs!🕸🕷

See how many Spooky Spiders you can count on your walk through the woods, and enter our competition to be in with a chance of winning a prize! 🎃

We are a cash only site.
50p off entry for best Halloween fancy dress!👻🎃

🐶Well behaved dog on lead welcome! Good surfaces for pushchairs, although there are some quite steep gradients. 🎃

☕The Secret Forest Tearooms will be open for you to enjoy hot and cold beverages, snacks and home made cakes!🕸

We believe you need to take roughly 30-45 minutes to visit the ancient woodland and roundhouses. There is a cafe and outdoor picnic area for you to enjoy your stay a little longer, plus small indoor play for when weather isn't great! ⌚🕷

The Secret Forest is opposite Clearwell Caves, GL16 8JR in the Forest of Dean. 🍃
