Lots of supporters in Mitcheldean and some touching thanks from people who have never seen a Reform member at their door. 📪

Any members want to come out with us please message me. We need more people knocking in doors and delivering leaflets so our supporters know we are there. Some people don't know about the Local Government Reorganisation and the fact that The Forest of Dean District Council will.no longer exist soon. ⌛🚫

A wonderful visit to Great Oaks Hospice today to present a cheque for £3,707.44 from the Gloucestershire County Council Grassroots Neighbourhood Fund! 💷🤝

Hospices are often thought of as solemn places, but stepping into Great Oaks immediately proves otherwise. The atmosphere is vibrant, warm, and deeply focused on living well. ☀️✨

Today, I had the privilege of seeing this funding in action:

Targeted Wellbeing & Rehabilitation: Funding vital exercise equipment and guided movement sessions that help individuals maintain mobility, strength, and independence. 🚴‍♀️💪

Inspiring Local Stories: Meeting participants like Eric, who is actively using tailored movement sessions to manage Parkinson’s. 🌟👏

Community Connection: Supporting initiatives like the Men’s Group, offering local men a dedicated space to connect, share, and support one another. 👥🗣️

An Uplifting Environment: From the active fitness space to the tranquil outdoor gardens and orchards, the focus on dignity and wellbeing is evident in every corner. 🌳🍏🌸

A massive thank you to the wonderful staff and volunteers at Great Oaks Hospice for the incredible, compassionate work they do every single day for our community. ❤️🙌
