Irish Scots for Independence

SNP members have agreed a fresh independence strategy for the next General Election. A new Scotland-wide campaign for independence will be established before the end of this year, and if the SNP win a majority of Scottish seats at the next General Election:

🤝 A Constitutional Convention made up of MPs, MSPs and civic Scotland will take forward independence negotiations with the UK Government

📄 Withdrawl from Westminster - a New Partnership Agreement will be published

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 A draft interim constitution for an independent Scotland will be consulted upon with the people of Scotland

🌍 Scottish Government envoy positions will be established for Scotland with supra-national organisations, such as the European Union.

SNP members have backed an independence strategy based on the party winning a majority of seats at the next General Election.

🏥 Devolution has allowed Scotland to ensure no days in our health service have been lost due to strike action

🩺 Junior doctors in Scotland have voted in favour of an offer from the Scottish Government to boost pay by 12.4%

📃 With independence, Scotland could enshrine the right to access health care, free at the point of need, within a written constitution

The talks, Scottish Health Secretary Michael Matheson said, could take place in London or Edinburgh.

🇮🇪 Irish citizens would be able to live and work in Scotland freely through the Common Travel Area, with no need to have Scottish citizenship

🤝 After five years of residence in Scotland, Irish citizens could choose to register as a Scottish citizen
