And it is here that I’ve been spending lots more time over the past 6 months.

I don’t often put up posts of my private life but I thought I’d let you see what is bringing a smile to me each morning apart from the simple joy of waking up and being here in the moment.

This is me……… ♊️
In my role, you naturally need to be visible, but in reality, that’s completely opposite to who I am (unless you REALLY know me). 😉

I’ve always preferred privacy and tend to work as discreetly and unobtrusively as possible during any ceremony.

If I could blend into the background, I absolutely would. No theatrics…. It’s all about you🫶

That said, if you’d like a little insight to my personality this is probably one of the best descriptions I’ve come across……………….

Did you know………….??
It’s National Doughnut 🍩 Week! Bakeries across the UK donate towards the Children’s Trust every year during the month of May.

Love these gorgeous sweet bites and love even more that last year G & G favoured this as their wedding cake! So unique and so utterly them. ❤️

I love to see beautiful artistic creations but I love just as much the simplicity of having something completely unique to you too! That’s what your wedding ceremony should be, unapologetically you! ❤️

This is incredibly important for me as a celebrant to try and encourage as many friends/family members to think about. Being at family meetings when there is already so much grief the worry you can visibly see of some family members hoping that they’ve got the tone right, it’s heartbreaking to witness.
It is a very tough subject to bring up but I cannot stress how much this will mean to loved ones if you have taken that step of writing or documenting your wishes. 🤍

Why recording your funeral wishes and telling your own story matters. Explore living eulogies, personal funerals, and easing the burden on loved ones.

It’s been a minute ⏰……..

Having a little more time to reflect over the past month I came across some old photos.

In my twenties being a dancer I was lucky enough to be part of the wedding show industry surrounded by unforgettable moments and incredible people including all the models ⭐️

Back then I was out front, sometimes feeling a little out of my comfort zone……

It feels like a quiet , full circle moment, as I’m now behind the scenes as a celebrant with Fuze ceremonies experiencing weddings in a completely different way, creating and delivering beautiful moments for my own couples.

Same world, different magic and one that I am so grateful for…..🙏🏻

This International Women’s Day I’m so proud to stand side by side with inspiring, like minded passionate women within our Fuze team and also to the wider wedding community of women in events, photography, artists, content creators, editors, videographers, cake makers, bridal wear (the list is endless) - strong role models who support, uplift, and empower one another every single day ❤️

Here’s to celebrating women who chase their dreams to make other women’s dreams come true on their significant days, who support each other, and lead the way for those to follow 💫

Just a wee note….. 📝
I’m always working behind the scenes at your wedding.

I love being part of the team @ Fuze Ceremonies, and getting to do what I love. ❤️

But, you don’t often see me posting every detail, every moment and that’s intentional as many of you know.

Your wedding day should be FELT, to feel special, to feel magical, to feel sincere.
I don’t put anything up for content unless shared by collaborators, not for likes, it’s only for you. Protecting your privacy matters to me. Some moments are too meaningful to be shared publicly, they stay exactly where they belong…. With YOU.

It reminds me of my dancing days, spending hours and hours backstage, working in the quiet, unseen by the audience. The prep, the care, the dedication all happening where no one could see, and yet I believe that’s what made the performance 🎭beautiful (along with my amazing students and brilliant team!)

That’s what makes me a little bit different. ❤️

I love to see the content of weddings please don’t get me wrong but I like to focus on what is felt.
The calming presence, the quiet organisation, the unseen details, that make everything flow smoothly and effortlessly.

Because remember the REAL MAGIC ✨ isn’t always on display. 💖
