Update: Boardwalk in Rouken Glen

The Boardwalk in Rouken Glen Park remains closed to the public due to health and safety concerns. It requires extensive repair works before it can re-open and we don't yet have an indicative date for this.

Fencing preventing entry to the Boardwalk remains in place between the entrance accessed from the garden centre car park and the staircase nearest the rear of the walled garden flat area - unfortunately on a number of occasions this fencing has been removed by those trying to access the boardwalk. It is not safe to use just now, so please adhere to the closure.

We'll issue an update on works as soon as we can.
