Kvitka is a Glasgow-based organisation that is helping Ukrainian refugees succeed through peer support, moral support and coaching. The idea of this project is in providing training and assisting in finding permanent employment for the participants. We are set to tackle the issue of the growing number of temporarily displaced military conflict refugees, particularly Ukrainian women, who are seekin
g empowerment, inclusion and integration into society. Kvitka CIC is founded and managed by a Board of volunteers who all have Ukrainian roots. Amongst the founders we have a range of skills including Finance, Beauty, Business Management, Marketing, and others. Our starting project, a sustainable beauty business academy Kvitka based in Glasgow is coming soon. Please follow our updates for the EduTech opportunities in the future. Kvitka founders are only starting this journey and we have a lot of exciting plans ahead. Please kindly note that we are open for email queries at all times. WHY KVITKA WAS FOUNDED
Our purpose is to create an inclusive business model that helps to empower people in reaching their full potential. Initially, Kvitka starts with the beauty sector with tech & IT to follow suit. As a CIC, Kvitkaβs aims and objectives are:
- Creating favourable conditions for the Ukrainian refugees to become fully functional members of the local community and contribute to the local society
- Breaking down the entry barriers for employment for foreign vulnerable nationals
- Creating a practical platform for empowering people
- Providing training as the key tool for future employment
- Assisting with the full-time employment for the beauty sector via our own salon
- Assisting in finding employment for people with tech/IT or other sectors via local collaborations, partnerships, and local business support groups
- Ensuring diversity and inclusion for all our members
