Our Midweek Muse from Offerings to Inspire:
Community CoFounder Eileen Caddy: “I saw a stone thrown into the middle of a pond. I watched the ripples going out and out from the centre, but when the ripples reached the outer edge of the pond, those ripples returned to the place where the stone was thrown in the first place. As they did this, I realised that there is no separation between us and that we are all One.” full article: https://celebratingoneincrediblefamily.org/one-earth-thoughts-on-the-way-home-1990

Our Saturday Snippet from Offerings to Inspire, featuring one of the original cofounders of Our Community, Lena:

For this week’s Offerings To Inspire we explore a Topic on the Celebrating One Incredible Family website about Our Foundations: Formative People …

“That suited a shy person like Lena. Life was really quite simple. The adults would gather in the Caddy’s caravan at lunch and in the evenings for “peace” or the “time of quiet” and they would then pen or discuss their reflections, revelations or visions. They were on what Caroline Myss has called the “innernet”! In meditation they sent love and light to far-flung places on a Network of Light.” Full article: https://celebratingoneincrediblefamily.org/lena-lamont-our-fourth-founder

Hello again! If my last update felt like I was doggy-paddling along the edge of a vast ‘Loch of Languished Lore’, I’m happy to report that this month I have finally found my footing on solid ground. April has been a whirlwind

Midweek Muse:

“When I first heard the phrase “laboratory and beacon” applied to Ecovillage Findhorn, I knew it expressed something profound about the place we inhabit together. It is not simply a community to live in; it is a living system where experiments unfold and light is sent outward. We are both test...

Our Saturday Snippet (that slipped away and returned!) featuring
Community Member Geoff Dalglish: “Findhorn had been on my horizon for some years although I clearly needed a nudge and got it when a friend handed me a book, insisting, “Here’s something you might find interesting.” It looked like the kind of 1970s book you’d find in a second-hand junk market and definitely not something I’d normally pick up. It was called The Magic of Findhorn and the blurb could have sent me sprinting in the opposite direction.” Full post here:

How do you adequately describe the enduring social experiment that is Findhorn? And is it a blueprint for planetary survival, as some believe? Born in the Swinging Sixties, the pioneering international community in northern Scotland has withstood the test of time, celebrating its 50th birthday durin...

(Delayed) Midweek Muse:

“One of the vibrational forces of life is sound. Sound can be used in many ways to influence people in their life patterns. It is a form of communication that people on all levels of consciousness can use to convey the images that form in their minds. This can occur through the spoken word, through the man-made rhythms and tones of sound-conscious people, or through the natural sounds that are around us in our everyday life. All these sounds have this in common; they are expressing forms of living development.”

From ‘Sound And Music Update' by Chris Cathles
