"“Why work on letting go of past and future? If you’ve even looked at a book on personal growth or at one of the Eastern metaphysical teachings you will have encountered the “be here now” approach to life.

Living in this moment of here and now is not a new concept. Yes, we know about it, but we don’t live it.

All our beliefs, ideas, methods, theories, and philosophies are built on our past experience.”

How Did Our Woodland Garden Grow?
Community Member Sian Mackay describes the dedicated work of Community Member Ariane Burgess (our Green MSP) & Draeyk van der Horn (our first Green Councillor) and other volunteers who have made our Edible Woodland Garden a 'wee Eden':

A story about the Ecovillage Findhorn Edible Woodland Garden One radiant morning in early spring 2026, I encountered the focaliser of the Woodland Garden, Draeyk van der Horn, preparing to plant a plum tree at the head of the pond. Part of a farming family, and a keen gardener since the age of eight...

“I came home, sat down, and immediately got this inner voice saying, “Pick up your pen and write”. So I did. I wrote and wrote. When I looked at the clock again, I had ten minutes before having to leave.

At that moment, an envelope was delivered by the postman. I opened it, and inside was the book God Spoke to Me. It was almost identical to what I had just been writing!

I can’t remember how I came to have that book delivered but I guess that I might have sent for something. The coincidence certainly caught my attention and it affirmed all that I had written…” Janice Dolley's full article: https://celebratingoneincrediblefamily.org/my-involvement-with-the-findhorn-foundation

How did I first come upon the Findhorn Foundation? Well, it began when the youngest of my four daughters was three years old and had started at a morning playgroup. This gave me a few hours to myself for the first time in a long time. On that very first day, after dropping her off at

A Wonderful Manifestation Story: The MoonTree Gardening House and Julia Butterfly Hill, by Community Member Geoff Dalglish:

If ever I doubted the transformative energy field within the Park Ecovillage, the sequence of events leading up to the 2011 arrival of legendary American environmental activist Julia Butterfly Hill was proof of the magic and miracles that manifest here. For me as a journalist in the Findhorn Foundat...

Our Midweek Muse from Offerings to Inspire: Peter Caddy, Community Cofounder:
“You cannot separate Suggestion from any other method of healing, and you are to use every method that will cure. But at the basis of each lies Suggestion. When you become sufficiently familiar with the Law of Suggestion, you will need no particular method but will instinctively do, by Thought alone, that which will produce the required result.” Words by Peter Caddy. Saturday Snippet: “Abundance for me is resilience that flows on its own. It’s the murky water becoming clear, the bird returning to nest, the child leaning over to watch tadpoles. Abundance is what happens when we get out of nature’s way and let her brilliance unfold. I design the conditions where that abundance can return, so cities are not places of ecological loss but places where life regenerates and grows.” Laura Pasetti: full article:

Midweek Muse: “No matter what was going on in the world, no matter what was going on in the community, no matter what was going on in my heart, the quietude of the Sanctuary was always there: the concentric circle of upholstered chairs, the soft carpet, the Pitlochry rainbow tapestry on the back wall, the baby grand piano in the front corner, and Peter’s beloved Quince tree outside the west window.” Words by Lark Batteau.
