As we’ve said before, 2025 was a pretty incredible year for us at Main’s Apiaries.
We’re still amazed by the level of support and just how much the business has grown. Last year taught us a lot. It’s made us stop and think about what we want 2026 to look like — not just for the business, but for us as a family, alongside our busy day jobs. Being busy is amazing but we need to make it work for all of us.
So in saying that - what's our plan for 2026?
🐝In the next couple of weeks, Ross has some really exciting meetings coming up that we’re hopeful will lead to more Bees for Business partnerships. We already work with a number of clients and the feedback has been genuinely amazing.
🐝Our private beekeeping experiences continue to sell quickly, and one of the best parts for us is seeing how many bookings come from people recommending us to others. We’ll never get tired of that. If you’ve left us a TripAdvisor review, thank you they honestly make such a difference.
🐝We’re also really pleased to say we’ll be back regularly at Bowhouse and Balgove Markets. Turning up to those markets for the first time felt like a big step, but we couldn’t have been made more welcome and we’re delighted to be asked back.
🐝We’ll continue to stock a growing range of local businesses who care about good food and supporting small producers, just like we do.
This doesn't mean we're slowing down — if anything, we’re quietly building — but now we’re doing it with a much better sense of balance and what actually works for us. We genuinely wouldn’t be here without the support we’ve had so whether you’ve booked an experience, allowed us to use your land, bought a jar, visited us at a market or simply followed along, thank you.
🐝And if you’re happy to share this post, it really does help us reach new people.
