Great to see all ages enjoying Walton Rec this afternoon, conversations with residents of all ages. Lovely to hear your thoughts and insights about this great park.
Thanks to Travis Perkins who have placed fencing inside the building yard which has reduced the amount of litter coming across.

Only one small bag of litter collected and most was historic so the winds may have blown that in.
Another awesome resident is going to give the signs about safety at the park a wipe over so they can be read clearly. Thanks Jay
And yes I take my picking kit out in my car all the time…… because I don’t want a messy town

With the announcement that Local Government Reorganisation is paused how does that affect you the public?
As it stands it doesn’t change anything right now it leaves the people of Felixstowe with 3 different councils having different responsibilities. As it has been for the past few generations so below is who has responsibility for what ( you will need to click on the photo for the full image)
I represent Walton Ward on Felixstowe Town Council
I represent western Felixstowe on the District Council.

Today I will be in the office, following up on some case work, putting forward some questions that have been raised by residents. I do hope to be able to get out later today to check on some fly tipping reports that should have been cleared by now if the weather plays nicely.
Last nights Trimley Station Regeneration project meeting went well, things are coming together step by step. Heritage weekend 19th & 20th September the Two sisters arts centre has been kind to allow the team to put on a station exhibition so if you missed out in May then pop in over the weekend. Massive thanks to the wonderful and dedicated Liz who has put this together

Great to see the team today, reporting back on some issues giving good news to residents is such a joy. Thanks to those residents who came to see me and spoke to me about their concerns.
Also great to see some of the Walton Parish Nursing, Felixstowe who I helped with £500 from my enabling communities budget this year.
