From 14 September 2026, the M27 Junction 10 improvement scheme will begin opening to traffic in phases.

The first phase includes the opening of the new westbound off-slip road, motorway underpass and four new roundabouts. The new off-slip road will replace the existing westbound loop and provide access from the Portsmouth direction to the new underpass and link road.

The new A32/A3222 Link Road will initially operate as a single northbound lane towards Fareham, Wickham and the surrounding road network, while remaining works are completed safely.

Local Government Reorganisation is withdrawn or paused across the country, with changes to next year's elections now cancelled following Judicial Review from Reform-led Councils.

Reform UK Leader Nigel Farage MP said:

“Reform UK not only argued that this government’s plans for local government reorganisation were an unmitigated disaster, but we once again put our money where our mouth is.

“Earlier this year we took on the government and forced them to give the vote back to millions of people after Labour tried to cancel democracy. Now, thanks to our judicial reviews in affected Reform-led councils, the government has backed down on their plans yet again.

“Only Reform had the backbone to stand up to these reckless plans. This is yet another embarrassing defeat for Labour. Only Reform backs real democracy.”

Ladies and Gents,

I’ve spent quite some time today looking into a planning application for a site within our ward.

The good news is that the site is covered by a SINC (Site of Importance for Nature Conservation), and the ecologists have already had their say. The original application stated that there must be a “buffer zone” in place.

We do not want to see trees and hedgerows ripped out unnecessarily, damaging habitats and disturbing our local wildlife, simply to make way for more houses in an area that is already becoming increasingly cramped.

I’ll be keeping a close eye on the area in question and will continue to raise any concerns where appropriate.

If you have any information about planning applications or potential breaches of planning rules in Fareham Park, please do get in touch. Local knowledge is really important, and I’d be grateful to hear from you.

Thank you.

This has really saddened me. We finally have money being spent on Fareham Park and improvements that local people can enjoy, only for someone to vandalise it.

And now the table tennis facility has been removed. Just why? What does someone actually gain from vandalising something that is there for the whole community to use?

It will now cost taxpayers money to repair or replace what has been damaged — money that could have been spent on further improvements to the park.

Please think again before damaging public facilities. They belong to all of us, and the consequences affect the whole community.

**Ladies and gentlemen,**

We’re proud to announce that **Reform UK Fareham & Waterlooville** will soon have our very own local office! 🎉

Opening on **10th September**, this will give our team a dedicated space to come together, work as a team and, most importantly, be more connected with the local community.

We want our office to be a place where local people can come and speak to us, share their views, raise concerns and have their voices heard.

We’re really looking forward to getting started, building a stronger local team and working hard for the people of **Fareham & Waterlooville**.

**This is just the beginning — and we’re excited for what’s ahead! 💪🇬🇧**
