Bosvathick House is a small, grade II listed Georgian house set in beautiful countryside between Constantine and Falmouth, near the north bank of the Helford River. Built in 1760 and remaining in the hands of the same family ever since, the house was substantially extended in Victorian times and inside it is something of a time capsule, with much of the appearance and character of life a century a
go. A mature 10 acre garden surrounds the house, with new exciting planting developments to create more interest extending far into Summer and Autumn in progress. 2013 was the first year this garden has ever been opened to the public and we hope to keep providing this great opportunity every year hereafter. Granite lions, ancient Cornish crosses, a sunken garden, a newly developed orchard and summer perennial borders, a small children's maze, and a 3/4 acre lake, await you! Tea and cakes available, dogs on leads welcome, onsite parking! Garden open: Every Thursday & Friday, March - August
11am - 5pm
Adults £3.00
Children free
Tours of the historic family home including tea and cakes and garden entry are available by appointment on every Thursdays from March - August. Still a bustling family home, you will see the house as it functions today, but with many rooms unchanged since the 1890s. Please see website for booking information.
