I wrote to Exeters MP, Steve Race,regarding trying to get funding towards another two mechanical machines; to help keep the w**ds down in this City . Steve jumped on the bandwagon . Sorry I mean raised this as a big concern . You would think he would be interested .Especially since he claims he has got £20 million over 10 years for Heavitree and whipton . I only asked for £100,000 . Anyway he said DCC should find the money . Fair enough . Let’s hope he does not find it in one and a half years time after LGR . He also said there were people who contacted him about possible damaged to the pavements . What does he think these w**ds are doing . Anyway , I write this because it would be good to get your thoughts on Steve’s comments . It seems to me that he is just not interested in a subject he has raised . Unless there is an Election coming .

A resident had asked me to enquire about why there has been some power cuts at the top of Redhills recently . I contacted National Grid and it looks like is was fuses failing at a substation .This apparently happens when an underground cable fault is brewing . They went on to say, engineers have already located and fixed the cable and don’t see anymore disruptions regarding this .
