📣 Could your organisation apply to the Women’s Fund for Scotland?

Then we’d really like to hear from you — whether you’ve received funding from us before, applied unsuccessfully, or have only just discovered that we exist.

Our annual survey helps us understand what grassroots organisations supporting women and girls across Scotland are facing, what funding is most urgently needed, and how WFS can be a better funder.

Your answers will help shape our future grantmaking — because the people doing the work should have a voice in how funding works.

If your organisation supports women and girls in Scotland, please take part: https://forms.cloud.microsoft/e/DGrBDgtp3e

Please share this with any other brilliant, determined and possibly slightly exhausted organisations that should be on our radar. 💚🤍💜

For more than a decade, we have invested in work that helps women and girls across Scotland to build skills, improve wellbeing, move on from abuse, grow social connections, step into leadership, and strengthen financial resilience. Those priorities shaped hundreds of grants and remain part of who we are.

As needs evolve, so do we. From 2025, we’ve wrapped our long-standing focus areas into three flexible investment themes that make it easier to describe the impact we back—while keeping the door open to the new and the unexpected.

Introducing HEAL - We support approaches that help women and girls heal from trauma, abuse and other harms—practically and therapeutically. This can include recovery support, peer networks, specialist services, and projects that reduce barriers to health and wellbeing.

In March 2026 we awarded 5 grants that come under this theme, with a value of £22,285 and benefiting an estimated 520 women.

Our 2026 grant partners in this theme are:

Endometriosis Awareness: How to get the best from your healthcare journey - Health and Social Care Alliance Scotland

March is Endometriosis Action month. Endometriosis is a long-term condition where tissue similar to the lining of the womb is found elsewhere in the body.
