Young Scots for Independence/South Lanarkshire The Young Scots for Independence (YSI) is the official youth wing of the Scottish National Party.

The YSI campaign for social justice and most of all independence for our beautiful nation. The YSI is an organisation for young Scots aged 13-30 who want independence and a better Scotland. The YSI have now began to branch off into their local communities to ensure all coverage of the youth's opinion is heard, hence why YSI/ South Lanarkshire was born. However we would like to point out, that all

of our Scottish pro-independence friends are welcome to join. We would also like to recommend that to take part in any events or/and activities, that YSI and your local SNP constituency may have, that you join their social media pages, official web sites and contact your local office. Although we are officially connected to the SNP, here at YSI/South Lanarkshire, we have the freedom to shape our own policies, which may differ from those of the SNP. It is our job to share information, interact with each other and come together united with all YSI members, to be one strong independent voice of the youth of Scotland. After all we all want the same thing...an independent, better Scotland.
