TREE AND BEE NETWORK - PLEASE DO NOT MOW

You may have noticed Tree and Bee Network signs at some of our green spaces. These sites are managed by the Tree and Bee Network and cared for by a brilliant team of volunteers, alongside the Parish Council's green spaces’ contractor.

Please do not mow any areas marked with Tree and Bee Network signs. A lot of time, care and effort goes into looking after these spaces, and it can be heartbreaking for volunteers if their hard work is accidentally cut down. We have a mowing regime in place to help manage the sites properly. The longer grasses and wildflowers provide important shelter and food for local wildlife, helping to support biodiversity across Bishopstoke.

If you have any questions, concerns or issues with any of the Tree and Bee Network sites, please email [email protected]. Thank you for helping us protect these special spaces.

Bishopstoke Carnival volunteers would love for people to give us a little helping hand.
Very soon we will start delivering our carnival booklets. Could any one help us with this?
On the 27th we would appreciate a few extra hands setting up the fete. We particularly need help moving our heavy straw bales so if anyone’s get a flatbed trolley they could bring along that would be amazing.

Bookings for Summer 2026 HAF (Holiday Activities and Food) activities open at 9am on Monday 22 June.

HAF gives eligible children and young people access to free holiday activities and healthy food over the summer.

This year, there’s a new booking system to make things easier for families, with automatic eligibility checks so no HAF code is needed.
You can register your interest now at https://eequ.org/eastleighhaf and get an email reminder when bookings go live.

Questions? Please email [email protected], with FAO HAF in the subject line.

It has been brought to our attention that the wrong accessible swing has been fitted in the Sayers Road Play Area by our contractors. They are currently sourcing the swing we requested and we will let you know when the new one has been installed.

UPDATE - I have now contacted Hampshire County Council to see if they can help with this issue and I am currently waiting for a reply.

Please be aware that there is a large tree branch blocking the path next to the river just after the cut through to the Hub Car Park (picture in comments). We have contacted Eastleigh Borough Council who are going to send someone to assess it.
