Beginning of a New Era
Eastleigh Town Council has now formally merged with Boyatt Wood Parish Council, marking the start of an exciting new chapter for our community.
The Clerk of Boyatt Wood Parish Council has joined the growing team at Eastleigh Town Council, helping to ensure continuity and a smooth transition. All current councillors will remain in place until the May elections, and all existing email accounts will continue to operate as normal during this period.
The expanded Eastleigh Town Council and its staff are delighted to be working with and supporting all residents, and look forward to building a strong and vibrant future together.

Road Works Shakespeare Road

As part of Hampshire County Council annual planned maintenance programme speed humps replacement will take place on Shakespeare Road from the junction with Woodside Avenue to Selbourne Drive.

The works are scheduled in 2 phases:

Phase 1 - 27th October 2025 - removal of existing speed cushions and resurfacing of the existing locations. Expected to take up to 5 days, with road closures to through traffic between 07:30 to 18:00hrs. The road will remain open outside these hours.
Phase 2 – 10th November 2025 – installation of new speed cushions. Expected to take up to 5 days with road closures to through traffic between 09:30 to 14:30hrs. The road will remain open outside these hours.
