No dog ever died from missing one walk🚨

If the pavement is too hot for your hand for five seconds, it's definitely too hot for paws. During the heatwave, stick to walks at dusk and dawn to avoid burnt paw pads and heatstroke, and if in doubt, don't go out.

Please share this vital reminder to help protect four (and three!)-legged friends in hot weather.

On a walk around The Rough delighted to see our trees thriving in the spring sunshine. A wonderful mix of Hornbeam, Black Poplar, Willow, Oak, Alan’s guerrilla apple, Horse Chestnut and one Walnut. Thanks go to our volunteers who have planted and tended these lovely trees over several years now.

GIRL'S FOOTBALL COACHING - last chance to take advantage of this free offer on Saturday 25th April. Bring your under 11 year old daughters and granddaughters to Roxbourne Park pavilion at 10am for an hour of fun in the sun, under 15s from 11am. LAST CHANCE!

GIRLS FOOTBALL COACHING will resume next Saturday morning at 10.00am for under 11s, and at 11am for under 15s. Please bring your daughters and granddaughters for a fun hour or so. Please sign up with Ourparks as per the advert. Friends of Roxbourne Park will open the pavilion for those who don't qualify in the age criteria, and we will provide hot chocolate drinks and biscuits afterwards. And ladies, if you fancy some walking football, the company also advertise a session at 11am.
