📢 River Maintenance and Flood Prevention Update 🌊

The Environment Agency will be carrying out essential river maintenance and flood prevention work in our area from April 2026 to March 2027. This includes targeted tree works, w**d cutting, and clearing blockages to ensure rivers and flood defences work effectively to reduce the risk of flooding to people and property.

🌳 Targeted Tree Works: Removing parts of trees that lean into or fall into rivers to prevent blockages and flooding while preserving habitats for fish and eels.

🌿 W**d Cutting: Cutting river w**d in specific locations to improve water flow and prevent flooding, using methods that protect wildlife habitats.

📍 Check the map in the attached images to see where work is planned near you.

Norfolk County Council’s annual recycling centre survey is an opportunity for householders to provide feedback on Norfolk Recycling Centres. It gives an ongoing picture of what’s working well, what could be improved and how residents are using the household waste recycling centres.

To help the centres continue providing an efficient and value-for-money service in the coming years, they want to find out your views about the recycling centres you use. Even if you don’t use them, they want to hear from you so that they can understand why.

It takes just five minutes to complete the survey. The survey runs from 20 August to 17 September. If you can, please share it with friends and family too.

Please take a few minutes to take our survey.
