The EU Digital COVID Certificate for vaccines in Northern Ireland has just launched : https://www.covidcertificateportal.gov.ie/en-US/third-country-cert-request/

Use the following link to obtain a COVID certificate and travel through the entire EU without the need for any covid tests.

In order to apply, simply register details of vaccinations you received in Northern Ireland. Any residents with the following details may receive an EU Digital Certificate:

1. Have received a vaccination type which is approved for use in Ireland. Those vaccines are:
• Moderna
• Oxford-AstraZeneca (Vaxevria/Covishield)
• Johnson & Johnson/Janssen
• Pfizer-BioNtech
2. Have a vaccination certificate with a QR code from the country that administered your vaccination.
3. Hold a valid Irish passport and be an adult (that is, you have reached your 18th birthday) on the day you make your application.
Once you fill out the details below, we will review your request and, if eligible, you will receive an EU Digital COVID Certificate by email

This is a great development. Special thanks to Health Ministers Stephen Donnelly and Robin Swann for making this possible, as well as activists across Ireland who highlighted the need for such a portal.

This day 94 years ago – 11 August 1927 – Fianna Fáil TDs took their seats in Dáil Éireann for the first time.

One of those elected as a Fianna Fáil TD in the June 1927 election was Constance Markievicz, seen here next to Éamon de Valera.

However, she died of complications related to appendicitis weeks later.

As a party we should be proud of our role in advancing LGBT rights on this Island. We have to build on the amazing progress this island has made in regards to legislation and public attitudes over the past 30 years and create an island were all its citizens have full equality

To round off the Ógra Tourist Attractions series, we'd like to highlight the iconic Hill of the O'Neill.

Stand on the Hill of The O’Neill and you are standing on one of the most important sites in the history of Ireland. A stronghold of noblemen, a place of authority and power. A region ruled for over 400 years by one of the most powerful dynasties in Ulster – The O'Neill’s.

Discover how this location was at the centre of a nine year war that changed the landscape of Ulster forever. Located in the centre of Dungannon, visitors will be met with a welcoming smile instead of a threatening sword.

Lough Neagh is Ireland’s largest lake with a shoreline of over 90 miles/150km. Paddlers on the Lough Neagh Canoe Trail can explore the numerous bays and inlets around the lough or the vast expanse of open water whilst observing a diversity of wildlife and historical sites. Sailing and wind surfing activities are also available.

For this, Ballyronan Marina is a picturesque boating and tourist facility which incorporates a picnic area, playpark, nature trail and beach area with ‘Blue Flag’ status.
