Our annual RSPB Big Garden Birdwatch is on Sunday 25th January at 1pm. All welcome.

Just in case you're thinking of going up to the summit, the top of the Law is closed to traffic right now as they're doing conservation work on the monument. This should be for the next couple of weeks. You can still park beside the public toilets and walk the rest of the way up if you're able.

A reminder that it's our AGM next Wednesday - 22nd October - from 6pm at the Maxwell Centre. We'll have cakes, biscuits and hot drinks for all who show up. Please come along and find out what we've been doing and what the plans for the future of the Law are.

Over 80 people turned up to our bat walk on Friday night. What a great turnout and thanks to all those who came to see our flying friends. We were rewarded with some good sightings (and sounds) of pipistrelle bats when the wind died down.

Our next event is our AGM in October. We'll be at the Maxwell Centre at 6pm on Wednesday 22nd where we'll be electing a new committee and will also be looking ahead to all the things we plan to do in the future. If you've any ideas about what the Friends can do to look after the Law please come along and tell us - or join up and help to make it happen.
