Situated in the hills above Dunblane, Cauldhame enjoys a westerly aspect that takes in 16 Munro mountains, across the battlefield of Sheriffmuir, all the way to Ben Lomond. Within the 20 acre policy of grounds, is the Georgian house which sleeps 13 people and two cottages that sleep 4 people each, meaning occupancy for up to 21 people. The house, has a large country style kitchen which is spacious
and modern, with large table/benches and is the lifeblood of the house where everyone will gather. There is a sun room with gym equipment, a TV and Wii games consols. Off the kitchen, the conservatory catches the sun and enjoys stunning views to the front. Also at ground level there is a dining room that can seat up to 20 people (over 2 tables), a large games room with full size snooker table, a bathroom and a twin/double bedroom. On the first floor, is the spacious drawing room, with wood-burning stove and large picture windows to take in the extraordinary view. There are three further bedrooms on this floor with another three on the second floor. Set in a rural setting, with the manager's cottage opposite, there are two additional cottages within the policy, which were formerly stables and a barn, having been sympathetically converted into individual dwellings. With their own kitchen, sitting room, bathroom and two further bedrooms, meaning that a further 8 people could stay here. Beyond the enclosed grounds and garden, there are two ponds and wild brown trout fishing is available in season to residents, fly-fishing only. Please note that weddings can only be for the capacity only. This venue is ideal for larger groups wishing to be based in central Scotland, with easy access to many parts of Scotland.
