🌊✨ Sea Glass, silver & a little bit of Old Green magic… ✨🌊

What a lovely day at Old Green for my latest Sea Glass Pendant Workshop!

There were some absolutely gorgeous pendants created, with each person choosing their own special piece of sea glass and learning how to carefully wrap it in sterling silver. I love seeing how completely different each finished piece is — just like the sea glass itself, no two are ever quite the same. 💙

Lots of creativity, plenty of laughs and a whole lot of “I can’t believe I made this!” moments… plus we had an extra Old Green mascot keeping everyone company! 🐾🤍

These workshops really are about so much more than making jewellery. It’s a chance to slow down, switch off from everyday life, learn something new and spend a day creating with your hands in the beautiful countryside at Old Green, just outside Wimborne.

And if you fancy joining me for the next one…

✨ My final month at Chalks Gallery! ✨

I can’t quite believe we’re already heading into the final month of my exhibition at Chalks Gallery in Lymington. 🌊🤍

It has been such a lovely experience seeing my sea glass and sea-inspired jewellery alongside so many incredibly talented local artists and makers as part of the Lyme to Lepe exhibition.

If you’ve been meaning to visit but haven’t made it yet, now is the perfect time! 🐚

You’ll find a beautiful collection celebrating our coastline, with artwork and handmade pieces inspired by the Jurassic Coast and the places we’re lucky enough to call home.

And of course, there are some of my favourite sea glass pieces there too — each one made with glass shaped by the sea and hand collected along the Dorset coast. 💙

So if you’re heading to Lymington over the next few weeks, pop into Chalks, have a wander, support some wonderful local creatives and perhaps take home a little piece of the coast with you.

The countdown is on… don’t miss it! ✨

A little carousel of the things that have brought me so much joy over the past summer as a metalsmith 🌊✨

From discovering beautiful pieces of sea glass and shells, new designs coming to life, quiet days at my bench and the excitement of seeing my jewellery out in the world… it’s been a summer full of creativity, learning and little moments that I’ll treasure.

And although I’ll always be a sunshine-and-salty-sea-air kind of girl, I have to admit… I’m now looking forward to the changing of the seasons…spooky season especially 👻 and I’ve got a big birthday creeping nearer 🍂

There’s something lovely about the slower pace that autumn brings. Cosy studio days, darker evenings, new ideas brewing, and the opportunity to turn inwards and get creative again.

So here’s to summer memories, autumn inspiration and whatever the next season brings. 🌿✨

What has brought you joy this summer — and are you ready for autumn?

✨ A little look back at a recent Sea Glass Ring Workshop 🌊💍

There’s something so special about taking a piece of sea glass that has already travelled its own journey and giving it a new life as something you can wear.

This lovely group spent a few hours at my workbench learning the basics of silversmithing, shaping and soldering their silver settings before carefully setting their chosen sea glass.

And the best part? Watching those little moments when everyone realises “I actually made this!” 🤍

My workshops are about more than just jewellery. They’re a chance to step away from the everyday, get creative, learn a new skill and spend a few peaceful hours making something with your own hands.

🌊✨ Something very exciting is happening…

I’m absolutely thrilled to share that some of my handmade sea shell jewellery will very soon be available at a brand-new stockist — Poole Museum, right on Poole Quay! 🐚🤍 Poole Museum

Each shell is cast from a real shell, capturing all of those beautiful natural textures and tiny details, before being transformed into handmade jewellery in sterling silver.

There’s something rather lovely about the idea of visitors exploring Poole, discovering the history and beauty of our coastline, and being able to take home a little piece of Dorset with them. 🌊

I’ve been working away behind the scenes getting everything ready, and I can’t wait to see these pieces sitting amongst the wonderful displays at the museum.

So if you’re visiting Poole Quay, keep your eyes peeled… 👀

✨ Coming very soon to Poole Museum!

Which shell would you choose to take home — cockle, scallop or whelk? 🐚

A little sea glass love story… 🌊💙

This dainty aqua sea glass pendant got lots of love at last weekend’s summer gathering, but somehow no one took her home! So, for now, she’s back at my workbench waiting patiently for her next chapter. ✨

I’m currently working on some more dainty sea glass pieces, which will be added to the collection towards the end of the month. Expect delicate settings, beautiful sea-worn colours and those little pieces of the Dorset coast that make every one completely unique.

Or perhaps you’d rather make your own? 👀🌊

I still have spaces available on my September Sea Glass Pendant Workshop at Old Green Studio, where you can spend a few creative hours learning silversmithing and make your very own pendant using sea glass.

There’s something extra special about wearing a piece you’ve made yourself — especially when the sea glass has its own story to tell. 🤍

✨ Want this little aqua beauty? Keep an eye out at the end of the month.

Which would you choose — buy one ready-made or make your own? 💙
