Dragoons from A and C Sqn have wrapped up the first training cycle of 2026 with a culmination of dismounted and mounted exercises as well as dismounted and mounted ranges. This cycle took place across the UK at several training locations in all weather.

Now with the cobwebs blown off and skills and drills honed to an edge it's time to push comfort zones and develop individual and team prowess in the light cavalry role.

They've been putting their heads together (and boots on the ground) to master impressive vehicle mounted tactics and dismounted skills.

From navigating the rugged terrain in vehicle platforms to perfecting tactical drills on foot, they've been pushing ourselves to the limit.

Shoutout to the dragoons for their hard work and dedication. Let's keep raising the bar!

A first in the Regiments history and an even bigger first for the entire Armoured Corp as Lt Mackenzie become the first female to make the British Army Alpine Ski Team at the Inter Services Alpine Ski Championships.
