😒Really disappointed to report that no residents took advantage of the offer of free advice and a cuppa at yesterday's carers' session. Our local Alzheimer's group rep was there, a fountain of knowledge and advice, it's such a shame that she was unable to share it. If you're a carer or someone being cared for we'd be really interested to hear from you about what might encourage or enable you to attend a future session. Many thanks to everyone who came along to the Extraordinary Parish Council Meeting last night. It was good to gather your concerns relating to the proposal to build 100 houses on the former Western Mere School site. We will now use them to finalise the Parish Council response to be sent to Erewash Borough Council. Don't forget the deadline for your responses to the planners is the 4th of June so don't delay.
