Lakeland Bird Of Prey Centre Admission: £8.50 for adults, £7 concessions, £5 children (5-16 yrs) under 5's and over 80's free. £25 family ticket. Open from 1st April till 31st October.

The centre is a collection of birds of prey from around the world. Most of the birds are in pairs as part of our breeding programme. The flying display (weather permitting) starts at 2pm and continues until approx 4pm. During the display, there is a chance for visitors to fly one of the birds. We are 5 miles south of Penrith just off the A6. By car leave Junction 40 at Penrith M6, and follow signs

south on the A6 for approx 5 miles, or leave Junction 39 at Shap and follow signs north for 6 miles on the A6. Follow the brown signs when you reach Hackthorpe. Tea room, toilets and free parking.

Trains arrive at Penrith station every half an hour. There are no buses from Penrith only taxis.
