Inspiring the next generation of construction talent 👷‍♀️👷‍♂️

Yesterday, CITB Northern Ireland hosted the first of three Construction Bootcamps at Nutts Corner, welcoming 80 students from five schools.

Pupils learned about the wide range of career opportunities available in construction before getting hands-on experience in tiling, painting and decorating, joinery, and brickwork.

A fantastic day of learning, skills development, and career inspiration, with two more Bootcamps still to come. Thank to People 1st for facilitating the activities

Adopt A School in Action! 👷‍♀️🏗️
Last week, Deane Public Works welcomed students from StAidans Derrylin for an engaging careers experience.
CITB NI brought along the Mobile Training Unit to support the event and students enjoyed presentations, job sampling activities, and an interactive talk from apprentice Molly, who shared her journey into construction.
There was great enthusiasm and engagement throughout the day, with students gaining valuable insight into careers in construction.
A big thank you to Deane Public Works for helping to inspire the next generation.
