Beautiful Burford, we’re so sorry for the news we’re all having to process once again this evening, having heard the PM’s update. As much as we know it’s for the best reasons, and as much as we know we WILL be able to get through it again, together... it doesn’t make it feel any easier right in this moment, does it?
We feel particularly for all our very youngest customers who will be missing their classmates over the next few weeks, and for the parents and teachers whose calendars just got a little/ lot fuller! ♥️
All we can say is... we are still here. There will still be bread, and cake, and community spirit, and support. 🍞♥️
We continue to keep tight on all our safest rules for serving you, and we can always be flexible to make sure we get you what you need. We will continue to stock extra, essential food bits - so please let us know if there is something specific you’d like to see in store. We also ask that you keep an eye on a vulnerable neighbour that may be shielding again now - please help us to get a loaf or so to them too 🍞
And finally, as always, thank you for keeping up your amazing support for our little bakery... we hope we do you proud during these tough times ♥️ Stay home, stay really well, we’ll be seeing you very soon x 🤞🏼

Wonderful wintry scenes in Burford this morning. We may have entered Tier 4 on Boxing Day but there are still plenty of our local shops open for essential needs and others offering online shopping and click and collect.
