With over 44 years’ experience in health and social care, including a career as a qualified social worker, Simon has worked as a Care Coordinator since 2011 and founded the My Care Coordinator model.

👤 Alison Jessop – Director / Care Coordinator
Alison has worked in care since leaving school, beginning in a care home before moving into day care, housing for vulnerable people and care quality inspection.

👤 Amy Parker – Lead Care Coordinator
Amy has been a Care Coordinator since 2016, with extensive experience in care homes, high-dependency and dementia care, as well as personal experience of caring for a family member.

National Grief Awareness Day 💚

Grief touches us all, but everyone's experience is different.

At My Care Coordinator, we see grief in many forms. We support clients’ families coping with the loss of a loved one whom we have been caring for and we also care for individuals who are grieving themselves after losing a spouse, partner, sibling or a friend.

We also know that grief can begin long before a bereavement, following a diagnosis, a move into care, or the loss of independence.

There is no right or wrong way to grieve, and no set timeline for healing. Sometimes, having someone to listen, guide and support you through life's changes can make all the difference.

Today, we remember those we've lost, acknowledge those who are grieving, and remind you that you don't have to face it alone. 💚
