In association with 'Against Breast Cancer' we now have a 'Bra Bank' in the foyer here at the Community Centre. The bra recycling scheme takes your unwanted or unloved bras and through the charity's network of bra banks raises vital funds for pioneering breast cancer research. For every tonne of bras collected, Against Breast Cancer receives £700 to fund their research.

The donation to their research is based on the weight, so more bras mean more money. They receive approximately £1 for every kilo of bras collected through their bra recycling scheme, vital funds that are enabling them to continue their research against breast cancer.

Please note that we ONLY accept bras, no other clothing will be accepted.

We found a bank card at our Bluebell Centre over the weekend. We have it in the safe at the Community Centre. If it belongs to you, please come along and collect it on any weekday morning between 9am and 1pm. We will not return in unless the person collecting can provide us with the remaining digits on the long card number.

We have a number of items of lost property in our office. If you believe any of these belong to you, please pop in and see us.
