Hi, I'm Jean, a vintage woman with a passion for vintage homeware bordering on obsession. Echoes was born out of my own passion for authentic vintage homewares. With my homes overflowing with gorgeous finds it made perfect sense for me to share. My eclectic ensemble features the collectable, functional, and just plain pretty, which I sell at fairs in Lancashire. If you’re looking for something in

It all started with my Dad Ernie, who would regularly disappear off to the auction house and I would see him come home with all manner of memorabilia, curiosities and, on a good day, the odd valuable antique. The hereditary magpie tendencies emerged in me – slowly at first with a china teacup here and a poison bottle there. Beautiful old items that added unique style and originality to my own home. It was when I realised I couldn’t curb the urge to collect, that I first thought about sharing my knack for tracking down vintage items. I had just retired and was looking for a new venture and with the help of my The other, a graphic designer daughter, Echoes Vintage Home was born. I now get to satisfy my vintage addiction scouring the beautiful Ribble Valley, where I live, for the collectable, functional and just plain pretty – the only criteria my finds must fulfil are that they are authentic, adorable and in excellent vintage condition. I hope my passion for all things vintage shines through, and that you enjoy browsing and indulging in the vintage items we find for you. Only a few days until Crafty Vintage at Hoghton Tower and we can hardly move for all the bubble wrap we're using to keep our vintage goodies safe in transit.

In-between packing boxes we're finishing off these special crafty creations - wooden hearts decorated with our stash of vintage sheet music. The problem is we might not want to part with them :)
