Time is running out to share your views.

Our survey on the future of Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service closes this Sunday.

We’re currently developing our next Community Risk Management Plan (CRMP), the five-year plan that guides how we keep people across Lancashire safe. At this stage, there are no proposed changes; we’re simply asking communities what matters most to them.

Your feedback will help shape how our services are delivered in the years ahead, and we’re keen to hear from as many people as possible before the survey closes.

Take part in our short survey here:

Closes 5pm Sunday 15 March 2026

Your response will help guide how we protect and support communities over the next five years.

We’re asking for your help to shape the future of Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service.

Our Community Risk Management Plan (CRMP) sets out how we’ll keep people safe over the next five years and right now, we’re simply listening.

There are no proposed changes at this stage. We just want to understand what matters most to you.

We’re planning for the future of our services and your views matter.

Our Community Risk Management Plan is a five-year plan that outlines how we will help keep people in Lancashire safe. To shape our next plan, we’re inviting residents, businesses and communities to tell us what’s most important to them.

Your feedback will help guide how our services are delivered in the years ahead, with a further, more detailed consultation planned later in 2026.

Tonight's drill, we are training firefighters for hazmat incidents. The firefighters are just starting to go in the decontamination section to practice the wash down of the suits before being able to get out of the suits.

On Monday, we attended our station recognition evening where we recognised our firefighters, families, and employers. Without the support of family and employers, we wouldn't be able to respond to emergencies and keep our communities safe.

2 fire engines currently training at Ribblesdale swimming pool in the football changing room area. Training nights are every Monday night and keep our firefighters trained and prepared for emergencies. Thank you to Ribblesdale swimming baths for allowing us the use of their facilities 👍

Today, we put a training session on at Clitheroe for a firefighter who will be soon attending our training centre to complete his BA team leader assessment. The station was filled with smoke and this shows what our thermal imaging cameras can see in a smoke filled room.
