📢 Community Governance Review – have your say

We are carrying out a Community Governance Review (CGR) of parish governance arrangements across the whole of the borough.

Our communities have grown and changed a lot in recent years, and some parish boundaries no longer reflect the communities people live in today. With parish elections coming up in 2027 and wider changes on the horizon, we want to make sure local parish areas and governance arrangements still make sense for the people they serve.

The CGR can look at:
• altering parish boundaries
• adjusting councillor numbers
• warding arrangements
• creating or merging parishes
• changing or dissolving current parish councils
• … and more.

When assessing proposals, we’ll look at community life and cohesion, population and natural boundaries, and many more factors.
All of which could affect local representation and community identity - and these arrangements may stay in place into the 2030s.

The campaign to protect our local hospitals went all the way to Downing Street today.

We were finally able to hand in our Petition to protect NHS services in the Cotswolds to Number 10 today. This has been a long time coming, with so much time put in by so many selfless activists.

The thousands of signatures that have been collected demonstrate the deep support that our local health services have. We will continue to update you all of any news from the Government moving forward on this important issue.

A huge thank you to everyone who signed the petition and a special mention for those who gave their time collecting signatures.
