A huge thank you to all the volunteers who have helped make our Community shop what it is. 💯% volunteer run is a magnificent effort. If you think you can spare a couple of hours to join the happy band then pop in and say hello.

This week we celebrate National Volunteers week.

Fenton Fest 2026 ‼️

Join us for a fantastic afternoon of fun, food, and live entertainment at Fenton Fest 2026! 🍻🥂☀️

Sunday 24th May from 2pm at Church Fenton Sports Pavilion! ⚽️🏏

FREE ENTRY and no ticket required, it’s the perfect family day out featuring live music from Half Hand Hoodoo Blues Band, Hot Foot Powder, Vital, and DJ Black Marc’s, plus delicious BBQ food, real ale and pavilion bar, local stalls, children’s activities, and a giant bouncy castle.

Come along and enjoy great community spirit, fantastic entertainment, and something for everyone at this year’s Fenton Fest!

Ice creams, cold drinks, beer, cakes, coffee and even BBQ bits and pieces. Pop in and get stocked up

Looks like it's going to be a beautiful day in the Shire. ☀️
🍦🍷🍾🍻We are stocked up with ice creams, wine, beer and snacks.
☕The coffee machine is on to grab that coffee on your walk or come and enjoy the garden. 🌷🌸🌹🌺🌻
🕕⌚We are open 8 to 4 today and 8 to 12 on Sunday.

This is truly one of the greatest assets the village has. Volunteers are always more than welcome, whatever they can offer. Go on, make it your New Year’s resolution.

❤️ Our volunteers are working tirelessly to maintain the level of service we have achieved over the past 8 years.
🙏To continue this we need more volunteers, even if you can just spend a couple of hours here and there, there is no massive commitment, or an hour to help stock the shop up.
You will also find it incredibly rewarding.
