Meet Jane and Simon from 2XS: 2XS was founded in 1989 and has spent over three decades at the heart of the UK watersports industry. Simon brings a lifetime of hands-on expertise across every discipline we supply — from windsurfing and kitesurfing to wing foiling and SUP. When you work with us, you are not placed in a sales funnel. You get a direct, consultative partnership with someone who genuinely understands the equipment and how it performs on the water.

Jane handles the operational side that makes superyacht supply seamless. With direct experience managing the logistics of shipping watersports equipment to superyachts — customs documentation, freight coordination, and delivery — she ensures your order arrives where your yacht is, when you need it.
Together, Simon and Jane offer something rare in this market: deep product knowledge paired with the operational expertise to deliver it to a superyacht anywhere in the world.

USER REQUEST: While on my most recent Atlantic Crossing, the captain asked if the Watch Schedular could allow for dropping in the Chef for one watch a day. It didn't! but now it does.

"Should we get an eFoil or a wing foil?"

In my experience, this question comes up in almost every toy garage conversation now. Foiling has gone mainstream. Charter guests have seen it on Instagram. Owners want the latest gear. Management companies want to know what's worth the investment.

The problem is that most comparison content out there is aimed at consumers buying for personal use. Nobody's really addressed this from the perspective of someone equipping a superyacht — where storage space, crew handling, guest safety, charging capacity, and charter viability all matter.

So let's do that properly.

Part 2 of 3: When Technology Replaces Crew

45m sailing yacht. 6 total crew. 2 interior. Maybe 1 engineer who doesn't sail.
That leaves 3 deck crew when the furling jams and the main is exposed in 40 knots.

The safety conversation the sailing yacht industry needs to have 👇
