Huge apologies for a ridiculously late post. Had tried several times but system crashed so fingers crossed I get this one through...
Most of you are probably aware that our A1homes Monster Charity Auction was a huge success and the Charity House sold for a fantastic $356,000 to Barry and Mary Jackson. The Jacksons had just recently sold their house in Greytown and were 'between' homes at the time so the timing couldn't have been better.
We had some strong bidders which made for an exciting auction and given all the time, pride and love so many people put into this build it made it all worthwhile.
Soon after the event, Paul and Jeanette Southey from A1homes together with Chris and Warwick Dugdale met up with Fire Services Wairarapa area assistant manager Henry Strechman and Cancer Society Manager Wairarapa Jeanine Gribbin at Mary and Barry Jackson’s new home and presented them with cheques for $25,000 each from the proceeds of the sale.
A big thank you to all those suppliers, trades and willing bodies who have helped make this build such a wonderful success – we couldn’t have done it without you!
As this will be our last post to this site we thank you for following this build and invite you to continue to see past and current builds on our A1 page.
Thank you.
