During 2026-27 the Council will be offering two grant funding opportunities which align with our ambitions in Adult Social Care Early Intervention and Prevention and the Council’s new vision for a healthy, fair and sustainable Cambridgeshire.

The funding streams are:

1. Adult Social Care Seed Funding Grants for innovative community-based projects
&
2. An opportunity to administer a Local Mental Health Community Fund that will enable small grants (up to £1000) to be offered to local community groups and even individuals making a difference to adult mental health.

By funding new approaches to supporting people over 18, with both their physical and mental health, as well as promoting social inclusion and addressing inequalities, these two grants are aligned with the following council ambitions:
Ambition 2: enabling full, healthy lives for all
Ambition 3: our priorities for ensuring fairness and opportunity wherever we can.

We’re pleased to share that two new Adult Social Care grant opportunities will be available for 2026–27, supporting our ambitions for Early Intervention and Prevention and the Council’s vision for a healthy, fair and sustainable Cambridgeshire.

As Care Together reaches its planned close after three successful years, we’re delighted that all parts of the programme, including seed funding have now been built into business as usual.
This means the partnership working, innovation and community energy that Care Together helped spark will continue to grow.

💡 2026–27 Funding Streams
