I had a lovely morning visiting the Cornwall Deaf Centre in Camborne. Toys to entertain the kids, nibbles and of course more BSL and learning about Deaf Culture. Every time I go I learn a little bit more. They have lots of different open days and workshops and opportunities to meet with other deaf or hard of hearing people or those interested in learning BSL.

Everyone is always so welcoming! The centre has had a re-vamp and is looking great!

Lovely to celebrate St Piran's day with a visit to Camborne Library. I got to hear some beautiful singing and see some lovely crafts, learn some tree names in Cornish from the Spinney group and view some children's artwork. Overdue, but I also now have some Cornish flag earrings!

Good Peran Lowen!

This is a really clear and transparent explanation of the precept, the town council portion of council tax, what it means to you and what it goes towards.

Please Note - Camborne High Street and the shops and businesses are very much open!!

Access via Commercial Street (roundabout by Tyacks Hotel) is closed whilst works are being carried out along that stretch of road which are part of the Camborne Renew project (from Tyacks Hotel to former Shoe Zone shop). The works are scheduled from 19th to 30th January.

HOWEVER, you can still access the high street via Fore Street, Union Street, Cross Street, Chapel Street, Adelaide Street etc. Diversions are in place by Tyacks Hotel.

And there’s also FREE parking at Rosewarne Car Parks for 1 hour (1st hour is free, please make sure you still get a ticket and following the instructions at the ticket machine).

Please continue to support the high street as and when you can 🧡
