Due to our branch going into short term mothballs county have retained our standards. Bulkington are still having our normal parade but (A huge please help) we are in need of a National Standard for our parade. If any local branch could help that would be outstanding feel free to PM me and we can sort out the the details. I am abroad for work but happy to call if you send me a number to discuss. Many thanks in advance

I know Poppy Appeal and Remeberance is
Approaching fast. Poppy appeal for this year will be taken up by Nuneaton PAO as I have stood down due to work and family commitments. A parade meeting will be arranged in the near future with Rev Charles SSM 258 and all other parties. I need someone who can take this on for me as I will be out of the UK on business. Will post a date for the meting shortly best regards Mark

Trying to work a convenient way for people to book a place for the rememberance service. There genuinely is no simple way of doing this so if anyone has an idea I am open to suggestions. I am looking at releasing my mobile number in which people text for a place, once we have reached the maximum I will post on here that all places are taken. If anyone has another better idea then let me know. Whichever method we deploy this has to happen by mid week latest

The appeal boxes are out they are limited this year with two locations to be delivered this evening.
For safety and peace of mind all boxes have a collection tin as normal with the main areas having a QR Code for donations if you prefer electronic rather than cash.
Each box and its contents have been fully sanitised prior to packing and deployment. Many thanks to everyone for their support let’s make this another great year for the Poppy Appeal

Hi All, excuse my delay in getting this update out to everyone for Poppy Appeal and the Service of Remembrance this year. As we all know this pandemic has had a direct effect in everyone with restrictions on what we can and can’t do within the guidelines.
Having spoken with Charles and, take, advice on restrictions we will have a church service on the 8th of November 2020.
We are as most of you will be aware limited to how many people can attend safely so we have agreed on 30 Bubbles containing a maximum of two people.
The full number available for those wishing to attend will be updated this weekend we have to give some for attendees such as the Military, Guides etc..,
It needs to be noted that once the available spaces are filled we cannot allow any other attendees into the Church Service.
I as we all know realise this isn’t ideal however we trust you understand in the current climate this is unavoidable
Update will follow by Saturday with all details to register for attendance

Best Regards
Mark
