Class of 2026! 🥳🧡💙

Today, our Year 11 students celebrated their final official day at PSA. We are incredibly proud of the dedication, resilience, and effort they have shown throughout their studies so far.

Students came together for a special spiritual assembly, followed by lunch and cake in the canteen, before enjoying their leavers’ assembly, where staff and students reflected on their journey together and watched farewell messages from both current and former teachers. The day ended with plenty of photos, shirt signing, and memories shared with friends.

Keep up the hard work over half term! We can’t wait to celebrate with you at prom once your final exam is complete! 🎓

14 of our Year 7 students recently completed The Scholars Programme with The Brilliant Club 👏

With support from a PhD tutor, they explored the topic of gender and peace, developing their own dissertations and building valuable academic skills along the way.

Their journey concluded with a special graduation at Magdalen College, University of Oxford, where two students delivered an amazing speech reflecting on their experience.

We are incredibly proud of the dedication and maturity shown by all of our students throughout the programme.

On Sunday, Pioneer Secondary Academy and Primary School were proud to take part in the Slough Nagar Kirtan Samagam held at the Sabha Slough Sports Centre on Stoke Poges Lane.

Both schools hosted stalls with a range of fun children’s activities for families to enjoy throughout the day. It was a wonderful community event, with families from Slough and surrounding areas coming together to celebrate Vaisakhi in a warm and uplifting atmosphere. It was especially lovely to see so many former and current students visiting our stalls, and Tan Dhesi also came by to show his support!

Thank you to everyone who stopped by to say hello, took part in our activities, collected a gift, or made a kind donation to support our schools. Your support is greatly appreciated 🙏

Wolverhampton > London > London Marathon 👏

A huge congratulations to .s.kang for completing an extraordinary challenge in support of . In three days, Manny walked from Wolverhampton to London, before going on to run the London Marathon on no sleep - a remarkable feat of endurance, determination, and resilience.

Many in our school community will remember Manny visiting PSA last January during our One Million Step Challenge, where he motivated our students with the positivity and passion he brings to everything he does - including this challenge.

We are incredibly proud to celebrate his achievement and the awareness he continues to raise for such an important cause.

We were honoured that students from Pioneer Secondary Academy and Khalsa Primary School were invited to Sky Studios in Osterley to take part in their Vaisakhi celebrations last week. The event was hosted by the Sky Sikh Network and our former student, Amrit Singh Mann, now a Sky News Reporter.

Our students confidently spoke about the meaning of Vaisakhi during a live interview, helping members of staff learn more about this special occasion. They then joined together in performing Ardas to open the celebrations, followed by enjoying an impressive Gatka display.

PSA students also performed beautiful Kirtan using traditional instruments, adding to the spiritual atmosphere of the event.

The day also included a tour of Sky Studios, including the Sky News studio, making it a truly memorable experience for all involved.

We are incredibly proud of how our students represented both schools with confidence, respect, and maturity. It was a privilege for them to be part of such a prestigious celebration of Vaisakhi.

Over the weekend, staff from Pioneer Secondary Academy and Primary School were proud to take part in the Vaisakhi on the Square celebrations at Trafalgar Square, London.

This fantastic community event celebrated Vaisakhi while showcasing the richness of Sikh faith, culture, and traditions to people from across London and beyond.

We were delighted to host our own stall, where visitors enjoyed a range of family-friendly activities including arts and crafts, our Whispering Willow of Seva, and more. It was wonderful to meet so many members of the public and share the values of kindness, service, and community spirit.

The atmosphere throughout the day was uplifting, with live performances, Gatka displays, music, food stalls, turban tying, sports activities, and much more taking place across the square.

We are grateful to have been part of such a special occasion and hope to return again next year for another memorable Vaisakhi celebration.

PSA Celebrates Vaisakhi!

Our school community came together to mark Vaisakhi, a major festival in Sikhism which celebrates the creation of the Khalsa.

We began the day with Nishan Sahib Seva, where students and staff respectfully lowered, washed, and rewrapped the Nishan Sahib. The Panj Pyare led prayers, creating a calm and spiritual start to the day, while our students performed beautiful Kirtan.

We also held a spiritual assembly in our Gurdwara, where students learned about Vaisakhi and the important lessons it teaches us about courage, equality, and service.

And throughout the day, our canteen staff prepared an amazing Langar for the whole school community to enjoy together.

It was a day filled with learning, reflection, and community spirit. Happy Vaisakhi from all of us at PSA!

PSA wishes you a very happy Vaisakhi 🙏

Vaisakhi holds special significance within the Sikh community as it marks the creation of the Khalsa by Guru Gobind Singh Ji. Vaisakhi symbolises courage, unity, and the spirit of selflessness. It reminds us of the importance of standing up for justice and serving others.

We hope your day is filled with peace, love, and prosperity.
