At Buckley Town Council’s Annual Meeting held on Tuesday, 12 May 2026, Councillor Julia Jones was elected as Town Mayor of Buckley for the 2026/27 municipal year. She will be supported by her Consort, Mr James Shone. The Mayor announced that her selected charities for the forthcoming year would be Aaron’s Army and the Buckley Jubilee Committee.

Councillor Vivienne Blondeck was elected as Deputy Mayor.

During the meeting, the outgoing Mayor, Councillor Lorraine Rathbone, presented donations raised over the past year to her chosen charities: the Royal Buckley Town Band, Buckley Community Fridge, and NEW MIND.

We’re excited to welcome the Stannage International Stunt Team to Buckley Show this year!

Performing two action-packed 30-minute shows, the Stannage team will be putting their bodies through incredible feats of bravery (or madness?!) in a spectacular display of stunt-team skill that you won’t want to miss!

It's that time of year again, the biggest day in Buckley! This years show is shaping up to be even better than previous years, and of course the M&BRT boys will be down there with our usual bar and BBQ! We've great beer from Facer’s Brewery, sausages and burgers from Bistre Farm Shop and loads of other cold drinks and water.

Come along and see us to get fed and watered, knowing that as well as the best products and prices, you'll also be giving straight back to the local community and helping us out on events like the Santa Dash.

We'll also have a little information stall, so if you're an 18-44 year old lad who wants to make friends, do fun stuff and give back the community, come see us!
