🏛️ HODDESDON NORTH ELECTION UPDATE 🗳️

Yesterday wasn’t the result we wanted, but achieving 1,168 votes and 36.8% for Reform UK in Hoddesdon North shows just how many residents are demanding change 🩵

I want to sincerely thank every resident in Hoddesdon North who voted for me and supported our campaign. With a very high turnout of 41%, one of the highest across Broxbourne, it was great to see so many residents engaging in local democracy and making their voices heard 🙌

To everyone who helped on the doors, shared messages, and backed this campaign, thank you 🙏 Your support meant everything.

I also want to thank those who may not have agreed with me but were respectful and welcoming throughout the campaign 🤝

For now, it’s goodbye…but only for now 👋

Please continue holding the now re-elected Conservative councillor to account for the years of failure many of you spoke to me about on the doorstep. Real change only happens when people keep demanding better 💪

In the meantime, we must now rally behind our new Reform councillor Giorgio Daniel for Hoddesdon Town & Rye Park, alongside Giles Hall following his re-election in Rosedale & Bury Green 🇬🇧 Together, they will continue fighting for local residents and pushing for the change so many people voted for.

Congratulations to our newly elected Councillors: Cllr Giles Hall for Rosedale & Bury Green and Cllr Giorgio Daniel for Hoddesdon Town & Rye Park.

A huge thank you to every resident who voted for our candidates across the borough in this year’s local elections.

While we narrowly came second in all other seats, the message from across Broxbourne is clear people want change. Broxbourne wants Reform.

Thousands of residents put their trust in us, backed our candidates, and came out in force to support our candidates. We will never take that support for granted.

This is only the beginning.

Next year, we come back stronger, bigger, and ready to win even more for our community.

What a journey it’s been campaigning across Hoddesdon North, and I’ve loved every minute of it.

A huge thank you to my fellow Reform UK candidate Giorgio Daniel, representing Hoddesdon Town & Rye Park. 🇬🇧

Together, we’ve challenged the Conservatives head-on like never before… even turning up in a tractor 🚜 outside the Rye Park Conservative Club to make sure our message couldn’t be ignored.

Parking machine out of order completely unusable.

Covered up. No alternative on site.

But the warning still stands:

Pay… or risk a fine.

Let’s be clear if the system isn’t working, the fault is not with the person trying to park.

Not everyone has a smartphone.
Not everyone uses apps.
And they shouldn’t have to just to park their car.

This isn’t modernisation it’s exclusion.

Residents are being pushed into digital-only systems, then threatened with penalties when those systems fail.

That’s not service. That’s passing the problem onto the public.

We need basic things to work properly.
And when they don’t residents shouldn’t be the ones paying the price.

Fix the system stop penalising residents for your failures.

Time for change.
