Friends of Jubilee Country Park

Friends of Jubilee Country Park The Friends of Jubilee Country Park work to protect and conserve this important local amenity in a variety of ways.

A page by The Friends of Jubilee Country Park volunteers to share details of our regular volunteering opportunities, walks, talks and any other news or events connected to Jubilee. Jubilee Country Park is local Nature Reserve of 62 acres of neutral grassland meadows and woodland that support a variety of wildlife including species that are rare in London. Volunteers take part in conservation work

to help amphibians, birds, butterflies, insects, mammals, reptiles and wild flowers that live on this precious piece of our local environment. We also promote the Park by organising guided walks and talks.

Our weekly volunteer Conservation Work Party often work towards goals improving biodiversity within Jubilee Country Park.

One way of achieving this is by repurposing wood from post and rail fences and planting them back into the earth. As these biodegrade naturally they will help insects which in turn will help benefit other wildlife.
