Brockwell Passage Mural

Brockwell Passage Mural A mural and community art project by artist Victor Szepessy with kids from St. Jude's Primary School, funded and organised by Herne Hill Forum

Follow to see the making of a mural in the passage between Dulwich Road and Station Square in Herne Hill, London. This will be a cartoon style map of the passage on the end wall and stencil decorations by the children from the local St Jude's Primary School filling the whole passage. Work starts 09.08.2016!

Love the way this snap by shows the shadows the lanterns make in the passage. Light by night, shadows by day

“How beautiful and vibrant is Brockwell Passage in Herne Hill? I always make sure I have a wander down it when I pass by and it’s great to have part of Herne Hill market there on Sundays too. Did you know this passage used to be a hotspot for commercial waste and antisocial behaviour before led a project to clean it up and paint a mural? The mural was painted by local artist and students from St Jude’s Primary School. The lanterns give it that extra sparkle and look lovely when they’re lit.”
