WHO HAS BEEN CHARGED?
Four adults, all Slovakian nationals, have been charged with murder, causing or allowing the death of a child, and perverting the course of justice in connection with the death of an infant.

All four have been remanded in custody:

• Andrea Skopova, 20 — the baby’s mother
• Peter Horvath Jnr, 19 — Skopova’s boyfriend. Prosecutors say he is not believed to be the baby’s father
• Peter Horvath Snr, 38 — Horvath Jnr’s father
• Nina Horvathova, 37 — Horvath Jnr’s mother

A 15-year-old girl, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has been charged with perverting the course of justice only and has also been remanded.

The details heard in court are horrific. Prosecutors said Baby S suffered 33 wounds in 15 separate stabbings before her body was found on top of a washing machine in an outhouse.

They are due before Sheffield Crown Court.

A newborn baby should have been safe, protected and given the chance to grow up. Baby S deserved that chance.

Keir Starmer took the biggest Labour majority in a generation and, in twenty-three months, turned it into a national wreck. That is not misfortune. That is what he did with power.

He walked into Downing Street in July 2024 with 411 seats. By June 2026 his own party had pushed him out. He is now slinking out of Parliament as well. No other Labour prime minister has collapsed this fast.

Weeks after the election he stripped the winter fuel payment from around ten million pensioners. Then he and Reeves piled on tens of billions in tax rises, including a huge employer National Insurance raid, after telling the country they would not hammer working people. Growth was supposed to be the mission. Unemployment still rose. Living standards barely moved. Farmers were threatened with an inheritance tax raid until the revolt forced another humiliating U-turn.

He cut winter fuel for British pensioners while signing a deal to hand the Chagos Islands to Mauritius and pay billions, estimates from £3.4 billion to claims of tens of billions, to rent back a military base Britain already controlled. He appointed Peter Mandelson ambassador to Washington despite the Epstein association. He oversaw early prisoner releases because the system was bursting. He talked tough on borders while the country still seethed over hotels, small boats and social cohesion.

In May 2026 the verdict arrived in public: Labour lost nearly 1,500 council seats. Reform surged. Wales was lost after 27 years. His personal ratings hit historic lows. The party that had just been given a landslide decided he was no longer fit to lead it into the next election.

He did not inherit chaos and restore order. He inherited a mandate and squandered it on U-turns, freebies rows, a deadening lack of purpose, and decisions that treated the public as an afterthought. The damage to trust, to the public finances, to the sense that government exists for the people who live here is not a footnote. It is the record.

That is why the word traitor fits for a lot of people: not because he sold secrets, but because he was given the country and left it weaker, poorer in spirit, and more fractured than he found it. Unforgivable is the right word for that.

A newborn baby was found dead before dawn on Sunday in a house on Holywell Heights, Wincobank, Sheffield. Police and paramedics could not save her. Seven people from that address were arrested on suspicion of murder.

They are still in custody. No charges yet.
Detectives say they are “working to determine the ages of some of those arrested.” That line is in every official statement. So is the warning not to speculate.

Neighbours say the three bed house was packed with around twelve people. The body was carried out later, wrapped in blankets.

Online the seven are being called migrants and asylum seekers. Police have confirmed none of that. They have not named anyone, given nationalities, or said how the child died. They have only said some of the people they arrested may not be the age they appear.

Bristol does not need this record in an MP.
Abdul Malik shared a Hamas video of the 7 October 2023 attacks. He received a formal warning from the Judicial Conduct Investigations Office for serious misconduct and was suspended as a mosque trustee during a Charity Commission investigation. He circulated material from a proscribed terrorist organisation.

5,000 FOLLOWERS. ONE GROWING COMMUNITY. 🇬🇧

Bristol Rises has now passed 5,000 followers.

But this was never about a number on a screen.

It represents thousands of people who care about Bristol, their communities and the future of this country. People who believe in national pride, strong communities, controlled borders, public safety and having the courage to stand up for what they believe in.

We started with a simple aim: give ordinary people in Bristol and the surrounding areas a voice and bring people together.

To everyone who has followed, shared, attended, supported or stood alongside us — thank you.

5,000 strong. Bristol is finding its voice. 🇬🇧

BRISTOL RISES.

Taunton yesterday. The left brought a flag for almost every cause going.

Meanwhile, we brought the flags of the country we were actually standing in. 🇬🇧 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

BRISTOL — THIS IS WHY WE NEED TO GET POLITICALLY ORGANISED. 🇬🇧

Other political movements are organising, recruiting members and preparing to fight for representation in Bristol.

If we want political change, we have to organise politically.

That means building strong local networks, finding credible candidates, supporting them and giving people something they can actually vote for.

Otherwise, we leave the political ground wide open for parties we fundamentally disagree with.

We will be coming back to this subject very soon, with a serious focus on getting politically organised across Bristol and the surrounding areas.

Protest can make a voice heard. Political organisation can turn that voice into power. 🇬🇧
