INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS ADVOCACY MEETING

Our first advocacy meeting is on next Monday, 29th Nov at 1-3pm! We will discuss the issues that international students face at university. In particular, discuss the ways the upcoming strikes affect us and to what extent we can support it.

Please come along whether you want to learn about international student justice, meet up with your peers, knowing more about ISF, or all of the above!

Free hot drinks and snacks available. We are looking forward to seeing you all!

🌟Campaign Update🌟

We won the referenda!!! Thank you if you voted but the fight isn't over yet! Thanks to the help of everyone who supported our campaign, the question "Should the Students' Union lobby the University to address the International Students' awarding gap?", has been passed!

The 32.7% awarding gap shows how the University completely ignore international students, although the fees are up to £22,000 we are not getting the same quality degree. Students feel ignored, isolated and that the University do not care but we will not stop campaigning until this problem is resolved!

We will continue to educate staff and students' on the importance of the awarding gap, advocate for better support for international students and take a stand against inequality and racism at Sussex...
