Hello and welcome to my page Bipolar my fight which is a way for me to express myself the highs and the lows. l got diagnosed in 2013 with Bipolar one and since that day of confusion l have been in hospital six times. But along the way l have learnt to adapt to the best of my ability. l am on 5 types of mood stabilizers which l am slowly starting to feel the effects. Most of what l share on here i

s for self talk plus awareness and doing my bit to knock down the wall of stigma which is rife with in mental health. Its all about noticing the signs early as possible so one can get help before they dip either way. It has been and many would agree a very personal battle. l have trust in science but one thing l have struggled with has been lithium . First signs were positive then l started getting side effects which was harsh for example abnormal Thyroid gland, acute tremors of hand and body, bad stomach pains etc. l am not out to scare those all ready on Lithium but like my page states it Bipolar My Fight.

We have a gift because l can shout when I'm able to make awareness. When your in the mud sow some seeds. But when your world is well with you everyone water those seeds and the seed will start to grow. It will grow everyone into a beautiful BLUE flower and the moral l would like to add is.
