Me and Kai (brother) had a lovely saturday morning walk. Their was a hungry Heron catching many a fish. Michael Sharpe turned up at the dipping pond bringing a male and female Broad-Bodied Chaser. Saw our first sighting of a Cinnabar Moth. The Little Egret is back, got a nice shot of the Kingfisher. Also managed a few other sightings including: Damselfly, Dance Fly, Roach, a Moorhen with young and a family of cute young Goosanders.

Lovely walk this sunday. It was nice to chat with Ian the golfer this morning and a few regular faces. Managed a few good sightings: Dipper, Azure Bluet Damselfly, Large Red Damselfly, Newt, Reed Bunting and the fish i got, my app says. Pike and Roach, but don't quote me on it. Think the pike might be more of a bream but I don't know fish.

Had a lovely walk around the reserve with Michael Sharp this morning. Good conversations, and brilliant shot he got of the Female Blackcap. As we parted ways i headed to the dipping ponds to find a young Heron unfazed by the fact i was so close wandering around for some food. Watched him for about 30mins and he caught a newt.

The weather did not help at all with some of the more distance shots i got today. A young Goosander with a little fish that it kept holding for quite some time. Goslings, ducklings, 3 Herons on the river, Dipper and a Jay.

Quite a few lovely sightings today, very nice to see the Kestrel and the Little owl made a nice appearance. It was nice to speak to quite a few people also, especially Chris who has the same camera and lens haha what are the odds. Sightings today include: Little Owl, Kestrel, Lapwing, Tern, WhiteThroat, Little Grebe, Black-Necked Grebe, Bittern, Pochadd Duck, Shoveler duck, Great Crested Grebe, Moorhen with young and Rabbits.

Little drive up clifton to see the Swallows. Just sat nicely enjoying the view.

Our first time going to Rodley Nature Reserve Leeds. Loads to see, lots of friendly people helping with sightings and info on other reserves. Sightings today included: Lapwing, Littld Grebe, Sand Piper, Oystercatcher, Gadwall Duck, Great Crested Grebe, Cormorant, Tufted Duck, Mute Swan, Greylag Goose, Canada Goose, Jay, Heron, Egret and Snails.
