You know I like saving people money so when I saw an app called Nous that helps you save money on your bills, I was curious.

WARNING: there are 3 modes. Manual (I recommend) where you are in complete control.
Partial - I lost my rag when it decided to switch my mobile without asking.
Complete - which I'm guessing does everything for you without asking.

It's clever AI stuff and the help is really good, you could think you're talking to a real person...but you're not.

Please be cautious with any apps like this. I know what I'm doing and I felt very uneasy about them wanting my bank details before they showed me any real savings (although they did say my energy was already a really good deal 😉)

The world of technology is moving very fast and internet scams are on the rise. I'm not saying Nous is a scam but I didn't like the amount of control it wanted.

I must be old school because I still like a little bit of human touch. 😁

I love a promotion. Today's promotion belongs to Laura Cooper

Laura joined the business three years ago. Her why was a heavy one.

The education system failed her son. Denying any help for his extra needs. Laura needed to get an assessment done to get the help and they had already been waiting nine years.

Private assessments are not cheap so Laura joined the business to earn enough to pay. She did it remarkably quickly and I am so proud of her.

Today she hit a significant promotion in the business and I cannot wait to see her pick up the reigns and gallop towards the next one. 💥💜

I met Kathryn at a networking event. She sells unique, Preloved photo frames. They are beautiful.

Kathryn is so supportive of other people's businesses. She would refer people to me, even though there was no financial reward. She genuinely likes helping people.

After a couple of referrals, I suggested she joined the team, helping is what we do.

Kathryn found her calling. She was immediately able to help close friends and family save money and manage their bills. She had a real sparkle in her eye when she told me how much she'd save someone.

I'm so proud of her and she totally deserves this promotion today. Congratulations Kathryn, see you at the top. 😉😁

It's been 20 years since I was last in a classroom doing the job I loved. It was a difficult time when I realised I would never be going back.

Unless you've been in the situation where your health dictates your life choices, it's very difficult to understand. I went through the whole grief process and it took about three years.

I'd tried some 'normal' jobs but fibromyalgia is an intermittent fault and can appear from nowhere at the worst moments. Those jobs didn't last long.

When I started working alongside UW, it was by no means instant success. I had a lot of demons to overcome. A few things helped immensely though.

Recognition....as a teacher it was rare to be praised for doing something good. UW recognizes all the great things you achieve (with chocs, bubbly and bonuses)

Great friends....there is no competition, every partner genuinely wants you to succeed.

Support....when I had a wobble (which I did quite often to start with) there was always someone willing to talk it through with me and help me back on the right path.

I took my skills from the classroom and now help people loosen that financial belt a little.

In the words of Blur, It gives me a sense of enormous well-being.

Now I get to spend my days working when I feel well and resting when I don't.
