We have been responding to an incident in Bridgwater this afternoon, which required a cordon to be put in place as a precaution.
We're pleased to say that most of the road closures that were necessary can now be lifted.
We'd like to thank everyone for their patience and understanding.

A cordon was put in place as a precaution in Bridgwater this afternoon (Saturday 13 June).
Officers attended a property in King Street as part of a pre-planned operation and arrested a man.
Officers carried out a search inside the address and found an item they were concerned could be suspected ordnance.
Public safety is always our priority and therefore a cordon with road closures was put in place while more information about the item was sought.
The Explosive Ordnance Disposal unit was notified of the incident and is satisfied the item does not pose any wider risk to the public.
The wider cordon, including most road closures, is being stood down as a result, but a smaller scene will remain in place while police activity continues at the property today.
